Join Foster Creek Conservation District for our 6th annual native planting event to help reestablish riparian vegetation throughout the Foster Creek Watershed!
The 2020 Pearl Hill fire scorched over 200,000 acres in northern Douglas County, which destroyed vital habitat for wildlife and increased streambank erosion that negatively impacts water quality due to limited reestablishment of native vegetation.
Each year a group of volunteers work together to replant a different stretch along the Foster Creek Corridor to help restore native habitat, provide streambank stabilization, and improve water quality!
Please bring a water bottle, weather appropriate work clothes, and gardening gloves.
