The “Brrr” months (October, November, December) are approaching. As the winter chill descends on the valley, so does the need for NEW WARM WINTER SOCKS for all ages, to keep the homeless and people in shelters comfortable and safe. Our community ministry partners are the following:
Saint Francis House, formerly Gospeln HOuse (men, women, and children)
Rescue Mission (men)
Salvation Army (men)
Women’s Resource Center (homeless & needy women)
Members of Saddlerock Church (1400 S. Miller, Wenatchee) are asking for donations of NEW WARM WINTER SOCKS from October 1 through October 29. Warm socks for adults and children will be collected in a specially marked box by the church’s front entrance Monday through Friday mornings and each Sunday morning until October 29. Men’s socks are most needed. These socks will be distributed to charitable organizations as liberally as we have socks to donate.
Saints for Socks will have a table and sock drop off at Pybus Public Market on Make a Difference Day, October 28th, from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
