North Central Education Foundation Teacher Classroom Grants

The North Central Education Foundation is gearing up for their Fall Campaign that will focus on small classroom grants for teachers in the four counties served by North Central ESD, to be awarded on October 25.   Teachers often use funds from their own household budgets when preparing for school each fall and throughout the year.

Our North Central Education Foundation Fall Campaign will help to supplement teacher classrooms by providing classroom grants ($300) for teachers in each county served by North Central ESD.  Teachers have the opportunity to apply in six categories:  Music/Arts (funded by Woods Family Music & Arts), STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math), literacy, Chelan-Douglas Land Trust Foothills, Other (College Preparation, Counseling, Health Education), and this year two new categories—financial education, thanks to a new partnership with the Young Adult Consumer Education Trust (YACET) and National Board Certified Teacher Support.

In 1997 we were able to fund 92 grants, but over 50 applications went unfunded.

If you would like to donate $300 to fund one of these Teacher Classroom Grants, please get in touch with Eldene Wall,
