Give A Foster Parent $5 at Pybus Market
Drop by Pybus Market and support a foster parent.
FosteringWA is a program of the Family Research and Training Center at Eastern Washington University. We are contracted by the state to recruit and support foster parents all over Eastern Washington. We understand that not everyone can become a foster parent, but everyone can support families who foster.
Here is your chance!
You can give a foster parent “5” to show your appreciation for all the work they do to nurture the children in their care. Please bring gift cards in $5 increments to the FosteringWA table at Pybus Market on Make A Difference Day.
FosteringWA will also have information about volunteer opportunities and about how to become a foster parent.
FosteringWA seeks to find a diverse pool of foster parents to care for the diverse children/youth in foster care.
Children in care range in age from newborn to 18 years old and there is also a program called Extended Foster Care for young adults aged 18-21. The Wenatchee DCYF office particularly needs more families to care for teens, tweens, sibling groups, children with special needs, and LGBTQ+ youth.
