Camp Zanika Lache
Camp Zanika Lache needs your help! Please join us for Make a Difference Day on October 24 from 8am to 4 pm!! Show up anytime to help. Help us prepare camp for the winter. Please come and spend the day or even stay the night (free lodging- must pre-register for lodging). Masks will be required.
Anybody can join the effort! No previous experience is required. Children are always welcome and encouraged to come, as the scenic Lake Wenatchee provides a wonderful opportunity for outdoor fun and education. Volunteers skilled in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical are also encouraged to join. Work will take place from 8am to 4pm, on a number of different activities, ranging from brush removal and burning, raking leaves, cleaning and repairing cabins, closing down the waterfront area, and getting everything ready for our winter activities.
Volunteering at Camp Zanika is an important part in keeping camp fees down and offer camp scholarships and camp scholarships to kids who could not otherwise afford to enjoy all camp has to offer.
Coffee, tea, and lunch will be provided on Saturday. Free overnight lodging will be available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights for those that are interested in exploring the beautiful Lake Wenatchee area. Anyone spending the night must pre-register. Email Theresa at firstname.lastname@example.org. Dinner and s’mores will be provided for individuals and families spending the night on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning. Camp Zanika Lache is located 30 minutes outside of Leavenworth, on Lake Wenatchee. To R.S.V.P. or for any additional questions, please contact at 509-663-1609 or email email@example.com.
Thank you for all of your support. So bring your gloves, pruners, chainsaws, rakes, and let’s have some fun.
